Exemptions In Delhi Govt New Guidelines For Covid 19

A number of Government bodies are allowed to continue working, there are also a number of other categories that are allowed to move around during this complete lockdown on providing valid ID and reasons. People Involved In Providing Essential Services

  • Media

  • Government officials (health, police, electricity, water, municipal bodies, judiciary)

  • Doctors, Nurses, Medical Staffs and paramedics

  • Shops – Medical, grocery, milk, meat, fruits and vegetables can operate on getting Delhi epass that is issued 

People In Need Of Medical Assistance

People Travelling

Transport Services

  • Busses, Cabs, Autos and Delhi Metro would work but only to transport those who fall under the exempted categories.

Sports Complexes And Public Parks

All sports and recreation facilities will remain closed like 

  • Public parks 

  • Gardens

  • Gyms 

  • Swimmings Pools 

But those participating international or national competitions will be allowed in the Swimmings Pools who are the only ones who are exempted.

Religious Places And Events

  • No Religious place would work 

  • Marriages are allowed but only 50 persons are allowed to attend on production of valid invitation cards

  • Funerals are allowed with a maximum of  20 persons

These are some of the major exemptions in the Delhi govt latest guidelines for covid 19. Liquor shops would remain closed with no exemptions on its part. But those attending examinations will be allowed on production of Valid Schedule and Admit cards. Almost all the exemptions require a valid ID card, proof or at least the Delhi epass with the exception of Covid 19 testing and vaccines. This the Delhi Governemt had stated would be based on trust and that the Delhi public should not misuse this trust.
