e Medhabruti Scholarship 2020-21
The Government of Odisha has initiated the Medhabruti Scholarship (E-Medhabruti) to provide support to the meritorious students in the State of Odisha to pursue higher studies in general, professional and technical courses. Every year, students are provided with scholarships through the Higher Education Department of the state and it is purely on the basis of merit to enhance the confidence level of the outstanding students. This article provides all the information regarding the Medhabruti Scholarship 2021.
Main Objective Of Medhabruti Scholarship
The main objective for launching the Medhabruti scholarship is to help the meritorious students of Odisha for higher studies financially and motivate them. Four scholarship under different categories are offered by the Higher Education Department of Odisha and they are as follows:

E Medhabruti Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

|1||Junior Merit||Should have passed HSC with 60% or more marks from an institution recognized by BSE, Odisha/CBSE/ICSE/ Equivalent boards and pursuing regular +2 courses of 10+2 pattern.|
|2||Senior Merit||Must have passed +2 of CHSE, Odisha/ Class 12 or equivalent exam with 60% or more marks from an institution recognized by BSE, Odisha/CBSE/ICSE and pursuing regular degree course/ +3 course in any of the recognized colleges/ Institutions and Universities.|
|3||PG Merit||Must have passed +3 degree or equivalent exam with 60% or more marks from a recognized institute and pursuing a course in one of the disciplines (where scholarship is offered) in any of the recognized colleges/ Universities/ Institutions.|
|4||Technical/Professional||Must have passed +2 of CHSE/CBSE/ICSE/Equivalent 3 year course (only for MBS/MCA/MFC/MSW) with 60% or more marks and pursuing regular technical & professional courses in the colleges/ Institutions recognized by respective regulatory authorities.|
How To Apply For Medhabruti Scholarship?
Follow the steps given below to apply for the Medhabruti Scholarship:
Visit the official Medhabruti Portal
Click on the E-Medhabruti to start filling the application form.
Select the scholarship scheme (Junior/ Senior Merit) as per the applicant’s eligibility.
Completely fill in all the required and necessary details.
Click on the Submit button.
Medhabruti Scholarship Documents Required
Below given are the documents required to apply for the Medhabruti Scholarship
Domicile certificate to be issued by the competent authority (Tahasildar/ Add. Tahasildar).
The students who are working under the Odisha state Government can produce resident proof from the employer.
Proof of the annual income to be issued by the competent authority (revenue officer not below the rank of Tahasildar or Add. Tahasildar).
Mark sheet & certificate of the last qualifying examination as required for different categories of merit.
Bank account details of the student concerned (the first page of the bank account containing account number or IFSC).
